Photo Restoration - Services and Pricing options

At Scan-2-Save, we combine technology with old fashioned artistry to repair your precious memories. If your photos are stained, marked, torn, spotted, faded, redish or even faded, we can repair them for you.

The photographic process to make photos in the past, utilised a variety of chemicals that unfortunately will cause deterioration of the image quality over time. If you could have saved a copy in a vacuum and compared it to the one that's been kept in an album or shoe box, or an the wall, the difference and deterioration would be very obvious. But because we see them all the time we don't notice the deterioration of the quality of image.

These memories are priceless, as they are time capsules of events in your life that have passed, and cant go back to.

We will handle you original photos with the utmost care and attention, and these never leave our premises. We are a Brisbane based business, and all the work is done at our premises. Your photos are NOT sent overseas like many companies do. This involves unacceptable risk, that your photos may be damaged, or even lost in transit.

Light Restoration

Up to 3 minor repairs that are outside of any major areas
Major Areas - are defined as faces, hands, and all areas of lost photographic emulsion which contains details that are essential to the photo.

Includes ONE of the following:
Restore ONE major area of repair, OR
Colour Restoration of intact photo, OR
Add or Delete one person in a group

Heavy Restoration

For heavily damaged originals with more than 3 major areas of repair*, OR
2 Major areas plus significant spots, marks and cracks through-out the image/backgound
Add or delete more than one person in a group

*Major Areas - are defined as faces, hands, and all areas of lost photographic emulsion which contains details that are essential to the photo.

PLEASE NOTE - Once you material is received by us, we will confirm the cost of the job and return shipping (if required). The job will commence once payment has been received.

Our service time is from 4 week days, dependent on workloads during peak times. We are happy to confirm service time when you place your order, to give you an accurate timing.
